Lisa Fox
Lisa Fox, MA, BCBA
Chair of the Board &
Colorado Springs Psychedelic Professional Meetup Organizer

Lisa Fox (she/her) values coming together in community, supporting people in living their most authentic lives, and exploring the incredible potential of expanded states of consciousness. With a deep love for learning and connection, she earned her BA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University in 2002 and spent 15 years nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher in San Francisco. In 2023, Lisa completed the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy training at Naropa University, weaving this transformative work into her practice as a Clinical Behavior Analyst. She takes a trauma-informed approach, blending Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help others grow and thrive. Beyond her work, Lisa finds joy in the magic of the mountains, cherishing time with her nephew, and dancing the night away under the disco ball.

Bri Bendixsen
Bri Bendixsen, MA
Secretary of the Board

Bri Bendixsen (she/her) is a psychotherapist offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and psychedelic integration work in Fort Collins. She is a therapist on the MAPS Phase 3 clinical trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and completed the MAPS therapist training program in 2019. Bri is a co-founder of PRATI (Psychedelic Research and Training Institute) where she serves as a lead faculty member, teaching on ethics and integration, and has helped coordinate trainings for hundreds of mental health professionals from around the country in the clinical application of KAP. She also completed her own KAP training with Dr. Phil Wolfson and the Ketamine Training Center in 2019. Aside from talking about psychedelics, Bri is fueled by practicing yoga, snowboarding, devouring books, and playing in nature with her soul dog Max.

Rob Colbert
Rob Colbert, MA, PhD, LPC
Treasurer of the Board

Rob (he/his) received his BA in Contemplative Psychology in 2008, and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology in 2012 from Naropa University. At Naropa Rob helped co-organize a student group, the Naropa Alliance for Psychedelic Studies (NAPS), and while finishing doctoral course work at the California Institute of Integral Studies became a member of the Entheogenic Research, Integration and Education (ERIE) student group. Rob completed his dissertation in 2018, titled "Evenings with Molly: a Grounded Theory Discovery of Adult Recreational MDMA use," which investigates the use of MDMA in adult committed relationships. Rob is currently in private practice with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and is a sub-investigator in the MAPS Phase III trials for MDMA.

Lucia Terpak

Lucia Terpak earned her BA in Religious Studies from Wake Forest University in 2015 and an MA in Medical Anthropology from The University of Colorado Denver in 2019. She conducted her master’s thesis research on the role of the visionary experience in healing from opioid addiction at an ibogaine detox facility in Mexico. Lucia is passionate about building community, harm reduction, and understanding the root causes of addiction and other “mental health” issues.

Reilly Capps

Reilly Capps is a writer, health professional, and psychedelic guide. He is a content lead at PsyDAO, a decentralized psychedelic science research org. His drugs reporting has been in the Washington Post, DoubleBlind, Chacruna, Third Wave, and The MAPS Bulletin. He was the drugs reporter at Rooster, a Colorado magazine, where his writing helped catalyze the world's first psychedelic decriminalization vote in Denver in 2019. Shannon Hughes
Shannon Hughes, PhD

Dr. Shannon Hughes (she/her) teaches, writes, and conducts research about the medicalization of human distress and the role of psychotropic drugs in managing our mental and emotional lives. She is passionate about supporting grassroots movements that help us re-claim our individual power from external bodies and corporations that seek to have us living outside of ourselves for their own profit or benefit. It is time to re-claim the use of medicine and connect with our inner sources of intelligence. Becky Natenberg, LPC

Becky Natenberg is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and the
owner of Zoetic Counseling. She has been in private practice in Denver for 11 years,
specializing in trauma and anxiety. Becky completed Naropa University’s Psychedelic
Assisted Therapy program in 2023 and currently stewards psychedelic assisted
psychotherapy for individuals and groups, as well as provides psychedelic integration.
In addition, she is certified in EMDR therapy. Becky received her BA in Psychology from
University of Colorado -Boulder in 2008 and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in 2014. Becky brings her love of nature
and movement into her work. In addition to her professional role, Becky relates to being
a yogi, mountain biker, snowboarder, runner, social gatherer, spiritual explorer, live
music enthusiast and lover of dance.

Stephen Thomas
Stephen Thomas, LCSW
Resident DJ

Stephen Thomas (he/his) is a passionate advocate for alternative mental health paradigms and regenerative living practices. He received his BA in English in 2005 and is a Master's in Social Work candidate at Colorado State University. Formerly from Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen helped found the first chapter of the Evolver Network, an international social movement fostering ideas for cultural transformation. In Tucson, Arizona, he worked in communications and development with nonprofits dedicated to environmental conservation. He is a writer, gardener, DJ, and purveyor of radical challenges to the status quo. A more beautiful, living world is possible, and Stephen's life mission is to plant the seeds that grow it.
