About The Event

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are in Boulder and Denver! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.

The BOULDER group will meet on the last Sunday of each month, 5-7pm, including:

Feb: ketamine assisted therapy

March: the future of MDMA

April: psychedelic guidework

May: plant medicines

June: summer fun at Betasso Preserve

July: Micro dosing

August: professionalizing and credentialing

September: Spirituality and Psychedelics

October: Psychedelics and  the Conscious Dying Movement with Brigitte Mars

November: Psychedelic Integration Panel

January 2020: community discussion

For our Feburary 2020 gathering, we are excited to welcome Lex Pelger, Director of Education for CV Sciences! As a writer, Lex has been interviewing people about their drug use for the past ten years. As a scientist, he tries to stay abreast of the peer-reviewed research and on the biochemistry about how these psychoactives work. He also hosted the Blue-Dot Tour, a series of open-mic psychoactive storytelling events across the country that he posted on the Psychedelic Salon. Unsurprisingly, the anecdotes often outstrip the science in their insights about the future use of this powerful class of drugs. Tonight, he'll share some of the stories he gathered on the road as well as advice from underground practitioners, in a talk titled, Psychedelic Anecdotes: Surprising stories of healing with psychedelics.

$5 to attend, payable at the door. Door fee goes toward paying for the venue rental.

If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
