About The Event
Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are in Boulder and Denver! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
Our community is based on the values of open-source/open-access knowledge, authentic empowerment, right relationship with medicines and drugs, and showing up for the people and causes important to our lives.
The BOULDER group will meet on the last Sunday of each month, 5-6:30pm, including:
Feb 24th (ketamine assisted therapy)
March 31st (the future of MDMA)
April 28th (psychedelic guidework)
May 19th (plant medicines)
June 23rd, Social gathering in the park!
For our June 23rd group, we invite everyone -- Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, and everywhere in between - to join us at Betasso Preserve just outside of Boulder. We've reserved the pavilion for a potluck BBQ, with open space and hiking/biking trails available to enjoy a summer Sunday afternoon. This is a chance to connect and get to know one another, and do the really important work of....Building Community.
The June 23rd event is FREE to attend. Please bring something to share...food, drink, games, etc. Nowak Society will provide meat burgers, veg burgers (probably portobellos), basic condiments and buns, plates, napkins, silverware, and sparkling waters. Please bring whatever else you like, to share!
If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
