About the event

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are happening again! We'll start in Denver since the Mercury Cafe is a large space that will allow for distancing. Hope to return to regular gatherings in Boulder and Fort Collins soon. Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.

For our June 2021 gathering in Denver, we are excited to welcome Dylan Rivard, LPC!  Dylan will help us to explore how psychedelic therapy and ceremonies empower a paradigm shift towards a more feminine way of relating. The psychedelic experience reconnects us with a profound care and connection that can permeate not only our relationship to ourself, but to all other beings. In a time when the absence of care is all too often the focus of every headline, join us in recognizing how psychedelic practices support us to reclaim the feminine relationship of care that has so often been marginalized and oppressed.

Dylan Rivard is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in wilderness and somatic psychotherapies. He enjoys living in a mountain home with his husband, where he offers a safe haven for others to connect with nature and with themselves.  A lifelong student of ritual and the impacts of sacredness on personal wellbeing, Dylan works in his private practice to connect people to an authentic experience of their body, heart, and mind. He is committed to supporting each of his clients to live a life grounded in creativity, wisdom, and love.

If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us! Please support the Mercury Cafe by purchasing food or drink during our event.
