Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are happening! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
For our August 2021 gathering in Denver, we are excited to welcome the CSU-Nowak Society research team to share preliminary impressions and emerging themes from our psilocybin community practitioner study. Our team asked ourselves: How do we elevate the voices of so-called "underground" community practitioners into the public, scientific and policy-making dialogues? From there sprang our current initiative to invite in the voices of community practitioners through a confidential research interview process.
