Psychedelic Professionals Meet: DENVER

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are happening!  Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others. 

For our August 2021 gathering in Denver, we are excited to welcome the CSU-Nowak Society research team to share preliminary impressions and emerging themes from our psilocybin community practitioner study. Our team asked ourselves: How do we elevate the voices of so-called "underground" community practitioners into the public, scientific and policy-making dialogues? From there sprang our current initiative to invite in the voices of community practitioners through a confidential research interview process. Interviews and data analysis are ongoing, but we are using the August Nowak Society meetup as an opportunity to share what we're learning so far and questions that still remain. What does the "aboveground" have to learn from the "underground"? Quite a lot! Join us August 12th for a preliminary look at some of what is emerging from this exciting research collaboration!
