About the event

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are now happening in Boulder and Denver! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.

For our December gathering, we are excited to host Pierre Bouchard, licensed professional counselor specializing in using somatic psychotherapy and trauma therapy to treat a wide variety of issues. Pierre has been working with Ketamine in his practice for over two years. In this talk, Pierre will share how he blends somatic psychotherapy with psycholytic ketamine therapy, specifically working with depression through a trauma/nervous system lens. He'll also offer a case study he's written about one particular client he worked with over the period of a year and a half.  In his free time Pierre works as a DJ in the Denver area and has had various movement and embodiment practices for over a decade. And of course, we will leave plenty of time for mingling and being in community. See you there Denver!

Join us in Denver at the Mercury Cafe (first floor). $5 suggested donation, and/or please purchase food or drink at the Mercury Cafe.

If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
