About the event
Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are in Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
Our community is based on the values of open-source/open-access knowledge, authentic empowerment, right relationship with medicines and drugs, and showing up for the people and causes important to our lives.
Topics addressed include:
September: inaugural gathering and meet-and-greet
October: Research on MDMA, psilocybin, and ketamine
November: Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy
For our October gathering, we'll offer an overview of what researchers, scientists, and others find exciting about the possibilities presented by MDMA, psilocybin, and ketamine for problems like depression or healing through trauma. We'll also compare recent findings on the efficacy of these medicines compared to conventional antidepressants. And of course, we will leave plenty of time for mingling and connecting with one another! Looking forward to gathering with you again Fort Collins!
The FORT COLLINS group will meet on the second Tuesday of each month, 6pm.
$5 to attend, payable at the door. Door fee goes toward paying for the venue rental.
