About the event

Help us build capacity to support therapeutic access to entheogenic medicine in Wyoming! This professional meetup is open to therapists, social workers, healthcare professionals, advocates, activists, and interested community members who want to share in education and dialogue around entheogenic medicines in Wyoming. Join local professionals in a casual, friendly space where we can connect and meet other like-minded practitioners and activists. We can't WAIT to see you there, Laramie!

For September in Laramie, we are excited to welcome the Director from one of the first Colorado-based organizations approved by DORA to certify students in Psilocybin Mushroom Journey Facilitation! Dr. Shannon Hughes from Elemental Psychedelics will explore with us pathways for practitioners from different backgrounds (clinical, wellness, "legacy") to become trained and licensed, and questions that remain about the future of the regulated psilocybin mushroom program in Colorado. Elemental is a grassroots, women-led training program that seeks to bridge clinical practice with respectful psychospiritual work with mushrooms. Please join us to meet and mingle, ask questions of Dr. Hughes (who is also a Nowak Society Board Member!), and spend an evening with us getting caught up with all that's happening in this wild moment of increasing access to psilocybin mushrooms!

Please also be aware of our Community Guidelines for all Nowak Society events. To protect the community, we ask that no one try to solicit illegal substances or services from anyone attending the event. Be kind, be respectful, and keep it legal.
