Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are now happening in Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meet starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others. 

Join us in virtual Zoom space for a talk about: Psychedelics by Prescription?: Access, Rights & Advocacy, with Nowak Society Board Members Shannon Hughes, MSW, PhD and Rob Colbert, MA, PhD. In this talk, we'll review common arguments for thinking about drug policy reform, including religious exemption, therapeutic uses/ medicalization, human rights & cognitive liberty, and harm reduction. We challenge the continued medicalization of psychedelics (and all drugs) in favor of rights-based arguments and decriminalization policy initiatives.
