About the event
Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are now happening in Boulder and Denver! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.
Our community is based on the values of open-source/open-access knowledge, authentic empowerment, right relationship with medicines and drugs, and showing up for the people and causes important to our lives.
For our July gathering, we'll dig into the research findings on psychedelics for depression and anxiety. How do psilocybin, different formulations of ketamine, and SSRI antidepressants compare in efficacy, according to the research so far? Dr. Shannon Hughes will present a comparative review of the research, followed by plenty of time for questions, discussion, and networking.
Join us at our NEW LOCATION in Denver at the Mercury Cafe (downstairs). $5 suggested donation, or please purchase food or drink at the Mercury Cafe. Note that we've had to move to Tuesday evenings for a couple of months, but will be going back to Thursday evenings by early fall.
If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
